So to be clear, if I buy the Raspberry Pi and DMD extender I dont need to make any type of cables? It will be just plug and play?

If anyone is having overheating issues you can buy a set of heatsinks for the RPI on Ebay for like $1.50 shipped. My ColorDMD was overheating if you left it on a for a few hours at a time.
