OK , just a small quizz , but in fact it was yesterday evening..Imagine you’re in the movie ...

Just 5 minutes before the end of a hard working day , wearing to go home ..and just before this good working action “Stop windows” , I launched my “SRPAN” (Secret Research Pinball Agent on the Net)
    The engine answer
« WTS pinball without legs 10 euros »

    Q1)
Answer 1)Not interesting , I don’t like pinball – I prefer motorcycle- IE failed haha
    Answer 2)OMG : 10Euros , 10 euros , How is it possible – I have to go.
    Your answer is A=_
    Q2)
You have to choose because your family is waiting about you to have dinner. This machine seems to be at 45 minutes (90 minutes return).
    1) I do love my wife and her cooking – No choice I go home
2)I will explain this delay due an emergency meeting due to the next Flu..coming from Mars...
    Your answer is B=_
    Q3)
You're calling the guy , just to check the price and he's confirming 10 Euros.
    1) Yes 10 Euros , what the Risk
    2) Too expensive , not for me
    Your answer is C=”_”

Q4)For specialist : )Take the number of ball given in “"Lost in the Zone” and remove 1 =
    D=

Now it’s time to check if you’re lucky …replace ABCD below with your answers , and you will know the machine I picked yesterday evening..

Hope you’ll find a Williams 1969 and think this is “Smart money”…
    Answer with picture tomorrow …
Good shape , all pieces on playfied just have to find legs .

Note : The cooking was excellent ant the wife happy - Arrival at 8.30 pm...

    Hmmm...tough one
smart money would be 'Expo' just for the BV, the highest of the 12
however there is a 'Smart Set' ......
but perhaps you are keeping us in 'Suspense'?
with a cool acid trippy Back Glass?

Suspense is way cool or creepy depending how you look at it-
druggy 60s addicts cruising around the bay area hoping to get a spot on that T.V. show -the MOD SQUAD ?
    or modern day.....Hmmm?
let me get back to you on that one

    #3 8 years ago

Your location give you a serious advantage to win...

    #4 8 years ago

    smart set?

    #5 8 years ago

Have to be SMART to figure out the riddle, or love pinball more than the wife's cooking.

    #6 8 years ago

...not so urgent to know the answer ... ...

    #7 8 years ago

well 4500 'smart set's were made highest production from 1969
however close behind was 'cabaret' with 3842 units......

sidenote - what % of a production run made it to Europe?
One cat told me about 60% was exported and about 40% stayed in the states?
but I never seen any #s or official stats. - would make a good story

    Hope this story was fun

So you're really all specialists and totally addict !!

In fact "Smart Set" on pinside....

Just a question : Is it normal that the playfield is without mylar ? (Perhaps normal at this moment ? - Help)
As you can see , the playfields, decors , pieces and BackGlass are totally OK

My wife like this style . Have to find now an OXO ...

Take care BD, I am able to do that (ask to Robin...)

    #12 8 years ago

Hey .. it'd give you a set of legs and lots of other 4 player EM parts It's also a Williams machine like that one.

    #13 8 years ago

    Looks very nice -congrats ,
the playfields are lacquered (paint) if you put a sheet of mylar down who ever tries to remove it many years down the road will end up pulling a lot of PF paint with it.

I think the modern trend on the old EMs is to clear coat the PF

So Did you find the game in France? and is it working?

    #14 8 years ago

@BD - Thanks for your offer ! I don't have enough holidays (..in fact , frenchies have 25 + 12 days off /year ) to come - but Next trip near Fort Wayne : i'll come to play
Legs - yes it's sounds difficult to find 1969 legs - Something to know on Williams Legs ? Too tricky !

@Autumnfade : The guy said me it have played with - but i didn't played myself . It seems clean , not modified -
Hoppefully decors and pieces are present -Ii think there are not really NOS pieces from 1969 nowhere ! ( ..i am from 1961 - i heard there no spare parts for me - BRRR )

OK for the paint no mylar . - In fact , i will install it for the look like in a "museum" , and the playfield won't be destroyed by my game assaults ! I will just clear it gently no paint , no mylar , just stroke.

Found in France at Tours (Loire valley) ( http://www.loirevalleyfrance.net/ , et choose map !)

Next week --> Flight L.A (CA)
Restart fixing on pinballs 23 August - i'll try it at this date.

This evening Buck will come , no space in the garage - Argh.
