Make sure that the switches are not exerting more resistance than necessary at the 9 to 0 transition. They need to close reliably, but not offer too much resistance. See if you can adjust the switches to lessen the resistance and still get good closures. The 100's reel will be slightly easier as it won't have the resistance from the PCB board (needed for the 10's match and the 1k & 10k hi score features).
