Trying to figure where this ground is supposed to connect in the back of SlugFest

Up in the head ?

Nothing in the head is within reach. The only thing that it might reach out of sight would be the DMD. I have to get to the DMD parts via the front and haven't disassembled that far yet.

I have the same ground that is disconnected on my Slugfest. any idea where it goes?

Mine was connected to the lock plate. Either way, it is not mission critical.
