Slugfest Magnet Coil - Weak - How to fix?

I just picked up a pretty nice Slugfest, my only gripe with it so far besides the dirt is that the magnet coil seems to be either weak, or late when you attempt a curve ball. The ball has a slight direction change, but not as drastic as I remember playing on other machines.

My questions are - is there another coil from another Williams machine that would plug and play in this set up, or do I need to find an OEM coil?

Any help with suggestions on a fix or replacement would be great. Thank you!

This bobbin is a weird size, at least compared to pinball bobbins.

I have been trying to find one of these bobbins so we can start making them, if anyone has a lead, lmk. Does not have to be new, or even work.
