Still looking for a CPO

Same boat.

Quoted from BigAl56:

I just sold mine for $1,950 but I did all the restoration and the cabinet was near perfect. The faded Cab is a deal breaker for many collectors though. Even with the decals thrown in you would do better installing all the upgrades yourself. As a DIY projec,t $1,500??

He is probably better off parting out the restore parts and selling the game as is.

I see a CP overlay on ebay. Can anyone comment about this one? I can't find any for sale on the net.

I bought one. I did a poor job installing, but that wasn't the overlay's fault. (should have primed the cp first). I will prolly by another and redo it right this time, but the overly itself seems good. Size is right, colors are good to my eyes.

Quoted from mdeslaur:

Yes, two bolts, two cables to unplug, and it comes off.

Ground wires attached to a post with a wire nut.

Whole thing takes 3 minutes to pull. It is thiner than a pin with the head folded down.

Fixing my slugfest and everything seems to be working, but the magnet.

Magnet test, works fine.

Pitch test the ball tosses, magnet never activates. Is there a switch that is not being tripped to activate the magnet?

Putting this up in case anyone encounters it.

The issue was the disc that interrupts the opto for the pitching arm had been put on incorrectly. It can only fit on one of two ways. Taking it off and turning it 180 degrees solved the problem. Before the magnet was activating, but way too late for the magnet to affect the ball.
