I know I have an extra CPO that I have no problem selling. What is the going rate for one of these since they seem to be unattainable?

Quoted from PapaKilo:

I either try to go for runs or try to go for score(heckler). Heckler is the only way to go when it comes to score. Try to swing late or early depending on where the singles are as singles are the best way to load the bases. Some people adjust pinch hit in the options so it gives you 1 per credit(inning). So thats 9 free singles right there. I like to play with 1 pinch hit per game to make it more strategic but it's however you want to set it up really.

I agree with what he has to say here. I will add a few things. To get best control on how to hit it on each side, I do it by playing a curve ball and swinging late for the right side 2 targets, and a swing early fastball for the left 2.

You can squeeze out 15 innings, BUT ONLY if crediting your game to max 9 at the start and achieving maximum grand slam extra innings, and 10 run milestones (4 free innings for 40 runs MAX)

If you play with 1 credit factory 3 inning start, 15 innings is unachievable.

Now I will say that I am unsure how these extra innings are calculated. The milestones give you an inning for every 10 runs. And again, it stops after 40 runs are reached. But the game will still deal out extra innings for your first couple GS’s. It seems if your run production is low for the first few innings, you don’t get rewarded with extra innings opportunities from grand slams. Seriously.

I don’t know what makes 15 runs the max, however I can tell you if I don’t crush a couple grand slams early, and get 40 runs by the say the 6th inning, I will be only getting 13 innings max because of no “grand slam extra inning bonus” will be available for extra inning after that point.

Test it out with the glass off so someone could actually tell me what it is. I don’t care enough to figure it out for myself, I just would love to know the exact rule to it.

If your game is adjusted correctly, your grand slam pitch (if chosen) should be a most true in this scenario. For instance all you need to do is choose change up, and it throws a slow pitch, no magnet, no crazy spin. And the first pitch change up is ALWAYS a meatball. Additionally your grand slam scoring starts at 500,000 and then doubles for every successful grand slam IN THE SAME INNING( maxing out at 8 million, and repeating at 8 million for every next GS). If you get your first or 2nd out while in a grand slam opportunity, you need to reestablish the grand slam with a single, or else you will not get credit for the grand slam (because there’s no heckler mode after an out).

Just keep in mind, if you’re going for a score, it’s not about how many runs are made, it’s how they are made. If you hit the grand slams hard and fast early without using your pinch hitters, you are golden for a security blanket of a few shitty innings to get out of your system.

P.S. I swear I’ve edited this post like 5 times remembering more to share lol. I’m sure if it’s not been mentioned, this should be good info to base your gameplay on.

That is some serious info that I would never have known or even thought to try to figure out! Thanks for that! Haha
I was just popping in though to say, I like the red, white and blue lights you have behind the home run dense

Thanks! My slugfest will be on the floor at Cleveland Pinball and Arcade Show in a few weeks. Come play it!

Quoted from ProjektPat:

How do I pull the playfield up on this thing? It won't budge!
I've got an issue where sometimes after playing a few innings strikes will stop registering and there will be a long delay and it just counts everything as a foul. My machine is giving me a switch #52 error. It seems to work just fine though, maybe it's sticking? Is this a thing that happens? Maybe some wd40?

there's a couple of latches under the playfield that hold it to the sides of the cabinet. kind of like a modern stern. There's one set for the control panel, and another for the playfield.

Quoted from ProjektPat:

Ah ok, beautiful. Any insight on the switch in question?

Read through everything first. Its complicated but not.

So the sequence of the "ball" taking awhile would likely be based on the ball getting caught up in the return trough. I am not sure which switch is the one in question, but there's an internal timer within the game that knows to differentiate between a strike and ball.

You can ONLY get a strike if you swing, OR have more than 3 balls and not swing(or 3-0 baseball term for ref). With that being said if you foul hit a pitch, the game will recognize the fact you swung and dish out a strike. However if the internal timer runs out (Roughly 2 seconds) it will dish a ball (typically when a foul actually happens). What's likely happening is maybe a couple things? It could be the switch, you're getting phantom strikes on and is stuck closed and creating a switch ground, OR the switch could be flakey, and not register the ball crossing over it. We assuming the switch 52 is the return trough switch.

When the ball reaches the end of the trough, the pitch buttons are supposed to re-enable by flashing. While the game is between figuring out strikes and balls, the pitch buttons stop flashing, letting you know the game is "busy". If you continue to try to pitch, the game will not let you do so if the buttons are not ready or flashing. Thus you will sit here hitting the button to pitch, and waiting for the game to be ready to pitch the next ball despite the ball already being where it needs to be. The game will then timeout another timer that allows play to continue. And that's what you are waiting for.

Long shot I know but does anyone have a source for this?:[quoted image]

Is yours broken? Or missing? Is it fixable?
