Quoted from zpinman370:Hey Guys, How many of you need card chutes?? I have an original that I can copy and make up a few metal spares as the original. If we can get a rough count will whip some up in next week or two to satisfy demand.
Quoted from jcar302:I could use a card chute too if they are reproduced, so if there is list, add my name please
Hi guys- I am working on the chutes but got side tracked when I was invited to Vegas for a week - just getting back at them- will hopefully have some complete and ready to post pics of next week.

I’d contact “zpinman370” directly.

Hey Guys,
Finally making headway with the card catchers- should have a bunch complete next week. Just need to bend up the 3/16" round bar that sticks out the front. tig them on and paint. as you can see we are almost there - I even had one of my guys do them up in cad and make prints and so if we need to make them again no worries

Thats awesome...have you figured out a price yet?

Hi Guys,
Finally have some of these done. This was the first prototype with gloss black paint to see how it looks. My original has a crinkle type paint on it so will do one up like that and see how it turns out. As far as cost goes I am thinking $65.00each will cover my costs on these. Of course shipping will be additional. Let me know who requires one.
Quoted from zpinman370:Here is a better sample done in blue to match the cabinet
Really nice.

Looks awesome....
Quoted from tamoore:Fixing a faded cabinet with red sharpie. Quicker and cheaper than 250 dollar decals.....

Looks nice...is it obvious u used a sharpie when u look close? U should use red on the baseball laces

When you look up close, yes.. but I think it looks better that what you think. I'll take a closeup later and post it.

Here's a closeup taken when I finished the logo.

About an hour total, but I took a couple breaks. Still have some things left to do (laces, and flag knob "W" logo). The other side will be the same.
I don't have a decal on the front, so nothing to do there.
Hi Guys,
Have shipped out a few of the card catchers. Hope you like them. If anyone still needs one I have I think 4 or 5 left that I can finish up. Just let me know what color.

Have you put on the CP Overlay yet?
Robert
My bat has started taking a while to return to the starting position after swinging. The spring looks solid, anything I should be looking for under the pf?

I haven't. I have some time this weekend, so I'm going to give it a shot tomorrow or Sunday.

Well done, and like the red legs to. !
Had anyone remade the top head door? I need to make a new one. Any measurements and photos of the original would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

The door that opens to the translite/speaker box?
I can get that for you.
3/4" plywood, size is 12.5"x24"
Along the 24" side, there are two notches cut.
The one on the back side (the edge where the lock goes) the notch is 11/16" in, and 1/2" deep from the bottom.
The one on the front side is cut in opposite, and is 5/8" in, and 1/2" deep from the top.

Quoted from Pale_Purple:Now my game seems to be spitting out 12 cards every time it should be one.
I'd suspect an opto problem, or a card is hanging blocking the opto before the motor starts, and it never sees a card drop.
Put the game in switch test mode, and make sure that opto is registering.

tamoore perfect! Thanks so much!
I thought I saw a paint code or rattle can color that matches the blue well? Does anyone have that? Rattle can called "Blue Ink"?

I would replace the coil sleeve and check the plunger for mushrooming. My plunger was fine, but the coil sleeve was really gummed up. Clean the plunger and coil stop while you have it apart.

check out post# 360 and #415 I posted some pics - Ink Blue is the closest match I could find

I had a paint match done and got paint in flat, semi-gloss & gloss to sere what matched best...it was the semi-gloss.
I could give you the codes, but PTownPin, still has my paint, maybe he could post the recipe here.

Happy (Almost) Friday!
I found this gem while going through boxes of baseball cards for our SlugFest. (Totally forgot we did this, but was able to find the original file to attach.)
For those looking for some over-21 fun, allow me to introduce our SlugFest DRINKING GAME.
We created and then printed out a few copies of the attached cards on decent card stock and then randomly mixed them in with the regular baseball cards for the game.
Whenever a batter would earn cards, the pitcher would have to drink whatever the card said. (We would generally play in teams to get more people involved.)
Just a heads up that you might want to remove these cards after you're done playing the drinking game because the image on the cards might not be suitable for everyone.

dude that is so cool, i can't believe i didn't think of that! great idea, can't wait to put my spin on this one!

or just write randomly on some of the cards with sharpie to drink, or give the batter $1 etc. (80s/90s bb cards were overproduced and have minimal value, so go for it)
Anyway, that sounds like a fun game.
I have a slugfest that was in storage for 15 years. Unfortunately there was a leak in the storage unit and my slugfest was damaged by water. I am currently rebuilding the Slugfest. Can anyone help me find some bat assembly parts, mainly the driver arm assembly. My bat doesn't hit the ball hard enough to make it in the upper deck off of the ramp. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Lots of parts here, which is where I’d start.

They are currently out of stock on driver arm. Ty, though!
Ok so here is the deal - my Slugfest came without the small board that goes in the card dispenser. I bought one from Marco and installed it. The dispenser motor now works, but the opto that detects cards and the low cards switch and the low card led all do not work. It will only dispense cards once per power up because it can’t count how many cards without the opto. Anyone have this issue? Wiring seems good.

shows the arm in stock now..
Quoted from MrSanRamon:He may be looking for part # a-6338, which is hard to find.

If you know someone who is a machinist maybe you can get them to make you one up if not readily available. The part is not that complicated.
