The connector under for the slot motors may need to be replaced. The was another thread here where they were having similar issues. It wasn't the wiring at the motor assemblies, but rather a small harness toward the back end of the playfield, on the bottom side. If I recall correctly it may have been a 3 or 4 wire harness that just needed to be re-pinned or spliced. Definitely worth a look, perhaps try re-seating it and see if that makes any difference.
