Quoted from PoMC:

For $350-$550, you can buy a nice IGT slot that takes quarters, fully works and then for home use fun install a tournament ROM. No fun having a stingy slot machine at home. I have a Triple Diamonds with a tourny ROM, plus very easy to buy cheap kits and swap out the glass and reels for a totally new game.

IGT slot machines are nice, and very reliable.

I have a 60's Bally nickel slot I need to get repaired...(problem w/ the hopper).

Don't know much about the older Ballys.

An IGT swap takes me about 45 minutes.
