Williams, 1993Hey guys...this is my first restoration and I don't think the wood screws in the image surrounding the sling kicker are supposed to be there. They are not tied down to anything under the playfield. However, I was wondering if anyone had an explanation on why they were possibly put there in the first place?

Probably to keep the ball from getting stuck under the slings. On other older games, I've seen finishing nails, rather than wood screws.
