Depending on how badly you want the typical pinball leg look, maybe you don't need them at all? You could just build a smaller box / frame (whatever height you need, but shorter length and width) , and then set the coffee table on top, like stacked boxes. The smaller lower box would make the coffee table kind of float, and you could use led strips along the bottom table edge to give a bit of all-around ambiance glow?
