I am reassembling my Advance Unit and I cannot understand the double switch. It appears to need rebuilding with an outer switch leaf that has a contact and the inner switch possibly might have a second nylon insulator. Can some one confirm the pre strip down pic switch shown is incorrect and how it should actually look please.

Here is a better picture of what this drive arm switch was like. It appears to have a broken leaf and the outer switch leaf is actually an insulation piece of cardboard.

Clearly broken.

Make a new one and replace it. Not rocket science. Two copper blades with a contact on each one. The broken one probably is the same length as the other one and has that plastic rod on it to push the next blade with a plastic rod.

Yup,

Made the leaf once I saw the pic. It needs to be longer that it's mate to push the existing nylon insulator if that is what you mean. Question now is only if there was another nylon insulator, I am guessing not, and gonna move on.
