Only 6 shows left. My favorite band of all time probably is finally calling it quits. No need for another I want a Slayer pin thread. Hopefully someday but won't hold my breath.

I was 7 or 8 when my bro turned me on to Slayer. I would doodle Slayer onto every binder i had. They influenced me in so many ways as a youth. I had a BC Rich warlock cause Kerry had one. I positioned my stickers similar to Jeff on my guitars and basses. I wore a Slayer chain everyday in Jr high. Think i was about 12 or 13 in the photo. I was known as the guy who wore a different Slayer shirt to school everyday of the week. First saw them live at Ozzfest 99 and last time was in 2016 in Edmonton.

Would love to hear others stories, memories of metals greatest band!

Nice! I knew Gryzzz would chime in. What ever happened to the dude in Brazil? Can't remember his name/handle but he liked slayer lots also.

How many times you seen them? Ever partied with them?

    Billings, right?

Caught the last 2 times they were here. The Wilma Show was one of the best I have ever seen. The outdoor show, not so much.

Sad to see them hang it up. Spent 3 weeks on West Coast Slayer Tour back in 92 -
Even got treated to a : "This one's for those two Hippies in the Pit - Those guys have been at EVERY show this Tour!" from Tom.

    Great band.

    Great band.

Montana, Spokane, Oakland, Vegas, then 2 last shows at the Forum in Los Angeles.

As a convicted pothead, I have no shot of getting across the US border. My wife and I wanted to get down to Oakland so bad to see a Raiders game in person before they leave for Vegas.

Ya'll need to check out the Repentless Killogy.... it's worth the effort.

At TaxSlayer Center in Moline, Illinois last week. They brought it and Ministry did as well, sounded like they did 30 years ago. I like Les and Primus, but between Ministry and Slayer had them definitely out of place.
