"I'll hang this golden floppy up right next to my rusty trombone."
Quoted from Whysnow:pretty sure the pin IS really Slash's and also pretty sure he paid for the spot in line (if he ordered on day 1 or bought the spot, not sure)...
just sayin, Slash has always been a pinball fan
Well...it looks like he chose number 991 out of 1000.
Maybe he ordered early and really wanted a high number. It makes no difference, but it seems more plausible that he got moved to the front of the shipping line.
Either way, it's cool that he's got a game.
Quoted from Sunfox:And why is Slash wearing a Flash shirt...
It Rhymes with his name?
Quoted from RTS:It makes no difference, but it seems more plausible that he got moved to the front of the shipping line.
To me it actually seems more plausible that he bought in on day 1 or bought a spot from someone that bought in on Day 1. Slash is a standup guy from everything I have read and is not the sort that would want or allow special treatment.
Slash has also been in to pinball collection for WAY longer that the majority of people currently in the hobby and has the $$$ to drop on EVERY new game that comes out. I would not be suprised at all if he actually even reads pinside as I get the impression he is also somewhat of a nerd like most of the population here...
If he does, and I'm not a big autograph guy, love a pic of him next to my GnR. He could have a home cooked BBQ and play all 22 of my pins in exchange.
I'd just like to meet someone talented enough to be one of the best guitar players in the world. I'm so fascinated with people that have artistic/musical talent like that. It's one of the traits I have always lacked, not for lack of trying.
See the picture of his Addams. Still has the made in America decal in the upper left corner. Did that come that way or did he swap the stern glass from Tspp into Addams?
Quoted from lllvjr:Did that come that way or did he swap the stern glass from Tspp into Addams?
I had some games came in with them when they were new.
The decal would be different from Stern's if it were a Williams one.
LTG : )
I'm surprised no one has reproduced those decals. At the least I would expect a special website put up listing which games came with it, for the anal restorers

Who says they haven't been? And that being said, an "anal" (I would say thorough) restorer would know where to get one or just have one made.

People will get plastic surgery on anything these days.

Yah yah yah , I was asking about these a long time ago but forgot that they were finally reproduced: http://www.planetarypinball.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=SRCH

Anybody who has HBO knows that.
