I should have been working this afternoon, but started looking at online pinball auctions. Came across a "Decoupling Auction" of Slash and his ex-wife which includes (among other things such as a "spanking chair") a Simpsons Pinball Party and Wizard of Oz Emerald City. Any GnR fans in the market for some Slash memorabilia or possibly a TSPP or WOZ should check it out. Here is the a link to the auction items (pins are lots 147 and 148):

I like those pricing estimates. Will be interesting to see what these actually go for.

Agreed. Clearly the estimates are low. Wonder what the right buyer might pay. 1.5X-2X retail? Really hard to say.

I read the fine print... I looks like whatever you bid, the premium on the auction is 25%. That is mighty steep...

Sure, but isn't that always the way with auctions, a bunch of BS fees tacked onto the sale price? You just have to factor that into your bidding.

(Also, you left out the 3% online bidding fee, so now we're up to 28%. And if the winning bid is less than $100, it's a flat $25 fee).

Good thing you did, unless you cared about its history. With the auction fees it would have cost you way more than what a tspp usually goes for.

Agreed, 7k is a lot for a TSPP unless you're a diehard GnR or Slash fan and must have this in your show and tell collection. OR like the guy that got WOZ and is looking to make a big profit.

What happens when someone gets married (just an 'eye' from being marred) and is saved (from themselves)
and has WAY too much money and not enough smarts... Auctions.
