My 1961 Gtb needs to be slapped up to the heavens. I’ve played with the mech a few times, but can’t seem to get it. Is there a trick to the Gtb ones? They look the same, if memory serves.
In my experience the GTB mech needs a decent whack but it would be possible to adjust/modify the switching mechanism to be less demanding.
