    My 1964 Wms machine turns off with a light tap on the bottom.

    My 1961 Gtb needs to be slapped up to the heavens. I’ve played with the mech a few times, but can’t seem to get it. Is there a trick to the Gtb ones? They look the same, if memory serves.

    Tried adjusting the switch a few times. That's why I hoped for some tips from the pros here.

    Maybe some lube on the rod …

    Fixed it. Cleaned the plastic part and sanded the pin with 1500 grit. Works real easy now.

    Made sure the blade was against the pin.
