Hi Everyone,

I'm still troubleshooting my Gottlieb 300. I've acted upon some of the advice from a couple of you.

I do have the schematics and have checked the H, T and AX relays.

It was running great and then just suddenly stuck on TILT.

I've wiggled the slam switch and ball tilt mechanism. No change

When somone says "adjust" the switches....how exactly is that done? How do I open or close anything?

Thank You

The tilt light comes on when the Tilt Hold (H) relay is off. The Tilt Hold (H) relay turns off when the Tilt (T) relay comes on or some other things that are a little more complicated to describe. Do you need a phone call?

In your other topic you were presented with a link on how to clean switches. To own an EM is to work on an EM. Everything you need on how to adjust and clean switches is here.

Where are you located?
Maybe easier to have some hands on training.

Let's get this down to one thread, for many reasons. Can you delete the other one?

I fixed it!!!

It was the scoring reel the whole time.

One reel was still barely on 9, therefore the machine tilted.

I manuallty cleaned and rolled the reel to 0.

Thank you everyone, I really appreciate the help.

Umm, the score reels are not related to the tilt problem. Somehow, your tilt issue went away, probably due to a dirty contact that is now working. The problem may return. That is, if the issue is simply a Tilt light on with nothing else happening at the same time. The score reels do need to reset to zero. Otherwise the score motor will keep running and lights will flash, not a tilt problem.
