Here it is, my first project pin to sink my teeth into! A Gottlieb Sky Jump from 1974 that saw a lot of love, and a lot of neglect over the years.

My to-do list that will be updated over time:

-Replace all the rubbers
-Clean and wax the playfield
-Replace the Ball
-Clean the contacts and connectors.
-Remove the Rust from the legs, bolts, and coin door
-Clean the Cabinet with Mean Green
-Replace the old power cable
-Fixed cupped/sagging inserts
-Install tasteful LEDs/Replace burnt out lights
-Triple Clear the backglass and then touch up the flaking spots with paint
-Re-paint the cabinet with a Pinball Pimp stencil kit (Debating this)

Observances:
-Playfield is in pretty good shape for its age, but because it was in storage for several years the wood did expand and contract a lot, causing "cracks".
-Cabinet is ROUGH. We're talking someone played tic-tac-toe on one side, yellowed from nicatine, a random hole drilled in the side.
-All of the original manuals, schematics, and even the original envelope they came in are with it! There's even some old replacement bulbs and rubbers (now worn out) in the coin box!
-Notable and typical flaking on the backglass: The skydiver's helmet, the plane, the further away skydiver, and the Sky Jump letters.
-Mechanically all switches and scoring appears to work without issue.
-Almost all inserts are cupped.
-Plenty of rust on the coin door, legs, bolts, etc.
-No visible touch ups have ever been done on it.
-Over 83,000 plays on the machine! Sounds like this machine got plenty of play time over the last 4 decades!
