So big Skateball fan, sold mine awhile back, but stayed on the list because I know I will track down another in the future. I also really appreciate CPR and what they do for the hobby, but....is it just me or are the colors way off on the CPR playfield? It looks severely muted in tones compared to what I recall mine looking like, and what other pictures look like in this thread as well as on IPDB. I notice the biggest differences in the blues and greens where originally they were almost a neon color and now they just look....well certainly not neon or bright.

I'm just guessing, but I know some people weren't thrilled with the skateball playfields so maybe they are selling some that were returned perhaps. I'm a former club member who has recognized the error of my ways and looking to get back in so anyone who is wanting an exit just let me know.

Skateball lovers.... I come to you in great need.
Using quarantine to tackle my first playfield swap....and well let's just say attempting to pull an all-nighter and do this was a terrible idea to start with. If anyone has done a swap and can share your pictures of the underside I would be greatly appreciative.
If no one out there has done that, but you are willing to lift your playfield up and take me detailed pictures of the wireharness connections at the switches at the top of the playfield, basically everything above the 5-bank of drops on the playfield it would help me out a ton.
When I washed the harness i released too many zip ties and it turned my harness into a tangled mess that I'm working on solving. Thank you so much for any help. Pics can be emailed to [email protected] or just message me here and let me know how it would be best to get them from you.

Because I’m a fool and had been working on it for almost 24 hours straight at that point. Mistakes were certainly made. I’ll get it sorted though.

That was the rats nest I created when I washed it and the reason I needed pictures to be able to fix it.

What would you guys say the value on a Skateball with a CPR Silver playfield already installed, new plastics, perfect original backglass, and decent, but not restored cabinet would go for nowadays?

Roughly $3500 it seems which sounded about right to me. I ended up not needing to sell it fortunately at this time, but it is at the bottom of my list of Bally's right now. The game is so pretty, but the rules need to be re-written, or at least modified to make the BALL Saucer reset after each collect regardless of current value.
