I'm getting the side table to sit between two recliners in front of the TV in my game room. Since it won't be adjacent to the wall, I found this. A little pricey, but with this and an area rug in front of the recliners, problem solved!

Yikes, very nice but that's expensive. I have a Pong table in the middle of my game room and I use this to cover my power cord. Works well.

Can't deny it's pricey...but it's oh-so-clean, and a lot cheaper than installing a floor core in my concrete basement slab.

I think I got kinda Rick-Rolled by my table. First pic is what it should have looked like. 2nd pic is what I got.....

HAHA. I've had that happen. Sometimes if the table isn't connecting to the wifi properly, you get some weird shit.

That would be kind of funny to create a track with a fake preview pic, then have it draw this...

Yeah, I’ve had a few that came out all janky like that. Could be the sand hasn’t evened out yet. I switched to the smaller ball to see if it’s more detailed. Didn’t notice much difference.

Switch to baking soda for hi-rez!
Just keep it out of any drafts...

Anyone ever seen one of these tables in a retail store? I would like to see one in person.

    #120 20 days ago

Ive watched some of the time lapse online.

Is it possible to load dozens of patterns, and just let it run, or randomize for new pic everyday?

Yes. You can create playlists that will create one after another and pause in between if you want.

one of the best updates that they made to the phone app was the ability to search all of the user created patterns and download the ones that you like. as gliebig has stated, you can make up [multiple] playlists for any of the patterns that you've downloaded to your table and select which one to run.

initially, I was running the erase pattern in between each, but then found that you can get some really cool results when multiple patterns are drawn on top of each other. I have my ball speed set to about 1/3 what it can be since I'm no longer in a hurry to see the patterns completed

I still need to install the RGB light kit w/ the 2nd ball option (once I finish working on a few other projects

I wish I could blow the cash on one of these.

Will the small one, with a smaller ball, be able to reproduce these larger table patterns?

With no disrespect to owners intended,
has anyone built one from the online instruction plans out there?

I have a mini also. It's good but not nearly the detail of the coffee table.

Admittedly this is a silly idea and I'm not certain how far I'm going to go with it but I thought I'd put this out there.
While I wait for the delivery of my Sisyphus, my popcorn popper died. See pictures. I opened it up and removed the heating element just to be safe.

My intention is to put beads (or something) randomly on the rotating stick and then fill the cavity with a material deep enough to cover everything. Most likely some type of sand. A reverse Sisyphus if you will. I was inspired by the Wrath of Kahn sand creature.

Also considering adding a second wire with different bends to it or maybe adding speed bumps to the pan base for the wire to ride over.

I'm making it up as I go and suggestions you might have would be welcomed. And please don't be surprised if I just shit-can the idea due to my short attention span.

Not sure how much the discount j_m_ 's link is worth, but the Black Friday sale through the 30th is 10% off. We are getting close to pulling the trigger on a side table, my wife likes the warm white the best, but I am wondering if the RGBW does the warm white or just the natural light? Anyone who has one of these have any thoughts on which light is the best? Thanks.

The rgb will do any light you want. I leave mine on warm white all the time.
