After doing some cleaning work on my WH2O, I found that I had shorted a the flasher by Bigfoot (bent the posts badly and grounded to the metal ball guide). This caused my 5-AMP fuse to blow and the Voltage regulator on the board to actually burn up. I replaced the #89 lamp holder with a brand new one (plus new bulb) and replaced the voltage regulator on the board. The lamp is now not working at all although the corresponding flasher lamp in the head IS working... Could the burn have blown a resistor as well? Would not that cause the corresponding flasher not to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated
THANKS!

Thanks for the advice - it is wired identical to the one I replaced - bulb tests good -No power to socket at all... No possibility it can be the board (maybe a resistor?) if the one in the head (it's a 906) is working? THANKS for your help
