Quoted from HHaase:

I need to get my rig fired up again. I really enjoyed the Skip Barber in iRacing. I keep thinking of moving into a different series though as the Skippys are just soooooo popular with even experienced drivers. It gets a bit frustrating always being a mid-pack finish, IIRC I caught a 3rd place once but that was sheer luck.

I just raced the Miatas for the first time the other day and had an absolute blast. I was into iracing a for a little bit before lockdown, then kind of drifted away from it. I just resigned up for a year though so now I have the bug to build a real rig instead of my crappy desk setup.

I've been really liking the Skip Barber car. The only problem is I can't drive it well and any amount of damage black flags me. I still really enjoy driving it though. I may try out the GT3 cars for the next season, but I'm not sure yet.

They just changed the MX-5 so it is sequential only gearbox now. They are pretty fun though. Formula VEE just got added and they are great.

Three weeks, three races done. Going to try and do the whole season in advanced Mx-5.
Zandvoort is a serious pain in the ass track this week. Not a fan of that course.

Nice, I'm trying to run C oval trucks fixed. They are at Chicagoland this week. Hopefully I can get my races in today or tomorrow.

I've been thinking about it for a while, but Zandvoort really drove home the need to upgrade my pedals. I've got Thrustmaster T3PA's right now and the brake pedal really leaves a lot to be desired on road courses. If I was running ovals I'd keep 'em, but time to garage sale some stuff and save up for more high end footwear. I'll see how much I can scratch together and maybe run toward some Heusinkveld's

I'm looking at the Fanatec Clubsport pedals. I would love to sink all of the money into sim racing, but I need to strike a bit more of a balance.
