So the garage door solenoid fires on boot up. Is this supposed to happen? It fires up and locks on.
Sounds like the driver transistor for that coil is bad/shorted....or coil wiring is still off. You will need to find and unplug the connector on the board that corresponds with that coil, then power on and see if the coil is still locked..... that will tell you if the problems on the board or the playfield. You could also go straight to the transistor and test it to see if it's bad.
