Fun place, great location, enjoyed the rare EMs most.
This place gets PACKED!
I was fortunate that it was kinda stormy/cloudy out and the area wasn't flooded when I got there.
When the sun is out, it's packed!
Totally worth the trip. I find that the $10 for all night after 6 p.m. is the best time. I believe it is open until 2:00 a.m. on the weekends. I had no trouble getting on all games I wanted. Best of all- its BYOB!
I love going there in the off season. Go there in the fall on a Saturday morning. I've done that a few times and I've had the entire place to myself for the first hour. I actually went there a few months back in the "season" for the shore and was amazed at how packed it got.
I went there this summer but I only purchased an hour because that's all the time I had. We were going to a concert at the stone pony summer stage and spent the night in Asbury Park. Great lineup and all the games were in good shape. I played Theatre of Magic the most. I really want one now.

Really? I was a big TOM fan, and was about to buy one. So I went back there to play it for a while and see if I got hooked. By about the third game, I began thinking that if that bitch said "MAGIC!" one more time I was going to slice my wrists open.
Oh...and BTW...can, like, NOBODY go there this Saturday? Because I'll be there, and I really don't want to fight the crowds.

It was so loud in there I couldn't hear her.

Some of us might be at the JJP open house, which isn't that far away... But there's still the regular boardwalk crowd!

I had TOM. Made it all nice and pretty and after about a month never touched it. Nothing grabbed me about the play on it whatsoever. But, that said, it was the prettiest machine to look at by far when done right!
If anybody is looking for a mini vacation for a night or two, I would recommend Asbury Park. The beach is clean, not to mention free and the boardwalk is small but it has a good vibe. Lots of great bars right on or off the boardwalk and pinball nirvana at the Silverball Museum. Many good concerts at the Stone Pony in the summer too. If you live close enough to drive there, book a room at the Berkley and go have some fun.
Just went there today for the first time.
We opened the place up at 10am.
Got the $15 till 5pm deal which was way worth it.
Soooo many different machines there.
Old and new. They even had WOZ so it was nice to finally try it.
Will definitely be going back when we have some down time again.
