I picked up a Silver Slugger at Allentown a couple of months ago and I cannot seem to pinpoint a problem I have been having. It is intermittent and happens when a ball lands in either homerun kickout hole. Basically when you hit either homerun kickout, you get a mystery bonus and then ball kicks out. Many times though the ball will sit there, it will say mystery bonus on the display but a countdown from 99 will start. After about 60 seconds it will eject the ball. Here are the things I have done:

Ground mod
Adjust switches
Clean contacts

I am wondering, what else it could be?

Reset settings to factory default fixed the problem in case someone else encounters it. Apparently a common problem with earlier System 3s.
