Data East, 1994I am looking for advice on how to reinstall side rails on a Data East GNR pinball. I removed the rails which were fixed with the double sided tape and I've cleaned up the sides for tape residue fairly nicely (some roughness but not enough to affect putting them back on).
Should I use double sided tape again or another method? If using double side tape, what's the best way to apply, apply to rail first or the wood first?

I basically applied the double sided tape behind the side rails, lined it up on my machine and used some painters tape to hold in place on lower edge. Flipped side rail down and then pealed double sided tape and flipped back up.
