Check the switches for the holes. I think they may more or less work in a similar way to the solid state ones that when a ball goes in, it hits multiple switches as it heads down. So, one of the switches along that path may have an issue, causing to miss scoring for that one switch.

    Quoted from gliebig:

    Are the ticket mechs:
    Easy to find?
    Pricey?
Easy to install and get working?

There's a whole bunch of them on ebay right now.

It's just basically a motor and a small circuit board, and matter of making sure everything lines up correctly so the tickets don't jam. Nothing too complicated.

    Fellow Pinsiders with Skee Ball,
I've got a Kickstarter in the review process that should go live in the next couple of days for replacement score and ball count boards. My Skee had the mini-bulb displays... no longer! Now it has my new LED boards and they work great so I've decided to take them to market. Here's link where you can preview my Kickstarter campaign; I'll post an update when it gets approved and goes live!

-visit http://www.kahr.us to get my daughterboard that helps fix WPC pinball resets or for my Williams system 3-7 sound board potentiometer solutions

These would be great, especially for location games. The bulbs don't seem to last very long, and the sockets are brittle and break often.

An LED solution would be very welcome.

Do they make NIB shuffle bowling anymore? My brother wants to buy one ,but I didn't find anything, when I searched for one.
He's okay with a nice used one,I was just curious if they still made them.
    Thanks in advance

Interesting question. I thought everybody kind of stopped making them by the mid/late 80s, with Williams being the last manufacturer making them in the early 90s on the WPC system. I didn't really see anything newer than that.

    Quoted from AlexF:

There was a Parker Bohn III shuffle bowler made by Betson around 2000. There are also some more modern ball bowlers.

Yes, there are a few bowlers with a ball, but I can't recall any recent shuffle alleys with a puck. I assumed he was looking for a shuffle alley with a puck.

Which one are you actually looking for? Games with a puck or a ball?

The most recent ball bowler is I've seen is Lane Master, which has a big digital screen and no physical pins--you just roll the ball down the lane into a rectangular cubby hole.
