Quoted from slghokie:

@phototamer WOW! It looks like you are respraying each color. Are you doing frisket and air brush? I presume you are clearing afterwards. I have not been brave enough to do a full clear, just clear what I fix.

Yes , frisked , airbrush and clear coat in b2in colors , decals at the end .
restorations are both documented ....

Quoted from topkat:

are any of those done with a hand brush? Or is it all air brush. They look like they just rolled out of the factory

In my case is a combination of both. Usually , delicate and irregular and small shapes are done with a 5/0 and 10/0 brushes , sometimes cutting the bristles a bit short for very small touchups. Frisket and airbrush for the rest .

Quoted from Deez:

Touched up my blown out Mata Hari. I think it came out pretty good. It's hard to see unless I point it out.[quoted image]

I think the font is a bit different..... just saying

Quoted from PinZig:

Here's the Black Hole project that I've been working on for over a year. For the playfield I mixed 7 custom colors to match the best examples hidden under posts, etc. Used a tiny paintbrush and a lot of patience. Its not perfect, I didn't seal it or level the inserts. But its mine. I installed a playfield protector and intend to play the crap out of it when I eventually finish the rebuild. Still need an inner backglass and the backbox lightboard. Both are beyond repair. Anyone help out a guy in need?[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Beautiful color matching and blending !
