Coin door decal from a dirty Lucky Ace that was given to me earlier this year. Never bought a game in my hometown but at least I can say I have one that originated there now. It has a decal in the upper right corner of the glass also. Not the nicest game I've ever owned but it's fun and the history makes me want to hold onto it.

Got this and trying to place it.
No other clues in the machine.

I think it's from Aladdin's Castle arcades. Seems I read somewhere they put this type of property tag on their machines. Funny thing is there is a Bally Aladdin's Castle in an antique shop I visit in Illinois. It has one and the price tag is $4000. I think the dealer thinks it's from a movie set or something.

I found this HIGH SCORES sheet of paper taped to on my Top Card back door dated from 1977. It's a little faded and stained, but still exist. Top Card was manufactured in late 1974. The scores are from the home owner I bought the game from. He and his family and friends documented their high scores on this paper starting from the year they purchased the game.

These fall into the “etc” part of this thread. These are from my 1958 Bally Super Bowler. It's kind of interesting that the one card says "All Star"; the 2 games are kissing cousins and are similar, but mine does indeed have the guts and features of the "Super". Also note the Lion Manufacturing information.

The cards are inside the head of the machine; the union label is on the top of the pinsetter assembly.

Although Dan from New Freedom posted same, here is one from a Kings & Queens that I purchased at the York show a few years ago. Really adds character to the machine. Lee

Cool, Lee. Although I noticed that the address changed sometime between 1965 and 1974!

I found several of these decals and put one on my Skill Roll. They were really brittle and needed to be covered in tape to keep it intact.

Off a 1961 Williams “Double Barrel”

    Long story “short version”.

I grew up in South Point, Ohio (very southern tip). Now living in the Cleveland area (why dear lord why?)

Picked this one up in South Carolina and brought her home. Not until I was going thru it did I see where it had originally been! Yep my home town!

I've seen a bunch of different decals on machines I purchased. One of my favorites were the old tax stamps from Long Beach from when my Flipper spent time at the Pike.

Couple interesting ones I just dug up.

STP stickers were used to barter with when I was in elementary school. Nobody wanted to give up their Odd Rods.

My sons Bally Four Million BC has a union sticker on the playfield plastics. I have two of the other one oddly enough since I don’t live in NJ. The one shown is from my parts bin that I got from another pinsider from PA. The other one is on my Williams Beat the Clock that was picked up at an estate sale in NC.

    These games do get around.
I got one recently that was made in Italy, spent most of it's life in South Africa, then made it's way to NJ where I picked it up.

I just did a quick search of S&S amusements and found an interesting thing in Billboard Magazine in 1966. Apparently they used to do a “roll call” and list all the operators by state who were members of the Music Operator of America. Each issue would cover a handful of states and list who was registered. You can check it out in the link below. There is also a bunch of old arcade/pinball ads and articles about making money with games in there as well which are pretty neat.

Growing up the local arcade was an aladdins castle. Had a buddy that worked there so at night he would lock up and do the office work. I’d have the keys and an hour or two with the whole place to myself. Makes having a game with one of their tags extra special.

    Quoted from Runbikeskilee:

Wow! That card for Steve Young is a classic from the way-back machine.
It sometimes seems to me that PA was the land o' plenty when it came to operators and pinball machines. I grew up in MA and my area was a relative desert when it came to pinball machines located on routes. Always a machine at the bowling alleys in my town, but others were hard to find. I went to University in PA and there were pinball machines seemingly everywhere.

Pennsylvania is the 5th most populated state but in the bottom half by land area. There should have been a large concentration of pins there. Bingo's too.

Love the Michigan Nickel Co. sticker. RIP Norm LaFleur. He and Mike Benson were typical slimeball route operators. Chummy and would talk nice to you at events and at the local distributors but would not hesitate to stab you in the back for locations. They would send people in to damage your equipment as well.

Fully restored an Old Chicago last year. I decided to leave these on the head door. I thought they were a super cool layering of history that should stay with the machine.

I carefully peeled this off of the lightbox of a "Diamond Jack" I picked up earlier this year. It's made of an adhesive foil, so I was able to get it off intact. I stuck it to a piece of paper, and put it in a book.
