It's your machine, so you can do as you like. I vote leave it. Not an absolute, but in general I personally like remnants of when these machines were in the public, including stickers, tags, warnings, licenses and keeping coin mechanisms working.
Sometimes removing things like that cause difficult to repair damage and uncovers how much fading has occurred over the years.

True, thanks for your perspective. All my games are players-quality anyways.
Quoted from roffels:I'm torn between leaving it on or trying to remove it.
From the company I worked for 1972 to 1973.
D.K. Carter was the man's name of the first route they bought when he retired. The Company became Advance Carter Co. They started putting those tags on equipment around 1972 when the accountant Benny came in. To start keeping track of equipment.
They didn't know where it all was. And service men were running their own routes using the companies equipment and movers. Benny was pretty sharp and got a handle on things.

That’s awesome! Do you know where that game is? Looks like you took a picture of a screen?

Yes, I had this photo on another device, and snapped a photo from it's screen. I don't know what game it is.

That's definitely a Gottlieb Pop-a-Card..
Quoted from Mopar:That's definitely a Gottlieb Pop-a-Card..
How can you possibly determine that unless you own that game?
I would tend to disagree. If you look very closely, you can see that there's a letter "y" on the scoring card preceding "for each score of...". That would indicate that it's a replay machine, not an add-a-ball.

Playfield doesn’t match either.

Haha, You can't. Just wanted to get a little reaction going..

I'm not sure where I got that picture from. I thought maybe it was your game, and I photographed the card that one time I visited you. I'll see if maybe my brother can shed some light on it.

Call Steve on a Monday morning and see if he remembers.
Ok. My brother says that card was on a Gottlieb "Quick Draw" that he got from a guy that had a building practically a stone's throw away from PBR!
Quoted from EJS:Call Steve on a Monday morning and see if he remembers.
I'm sure Steve had his card in many games that he sold and serviced back then.
Quoted from jrpinball:If you look very closely, you can see that there's a letter "y" on the scoring card
Good catch on the Y!
Perhaps down the road we can do another trade so a trip would be worth the travel.
One machine I kinda have an eye out for that isn't terribly rare is a New York, but
I'm sure there's others that are fairly common that I wouldn't mind checking out..
There's quite a few additional machines set up now..
Quoted from jrpinball:Here's an interesting one.
Obviously, pre-PBR.
Here is a better picture and confirming that it is Quick Draw.

Three years ago. I forgot I posted it back then!
Quoted from aamauzy:Jokerz! purchased in central Illinois with a C.A. Robinson from Los Angeles sticker on it. Found an archived article talking about their closure in 2010: https://www.videoamusement.com/news/c-a-robinson-co-closes-after-76-years/

Similar one on a 1974 Far Out with the "Modified by" wording that got me curious.

Quoted from PinballFever:How about this one? I asked but the Layton, Utah seller didn't know what it was. Their father bought the game for them to play when they were kids.

I like the color match.
This is all I could find on the internet. The business description matches but the phone number doesn't.

I couldn't find anything related to that name and the number is apparently the extension. I'm guessing it was an operator in Layton, Utah back in the 70's or 80's that their dad bought from for their kids.

I worked for them. Silco is Steerwell International Leisure Company out of North Bergen, New Jersey.

I think I still have some of those decals. Dad put them on cigarette machines when I was a kid. 35 years ago, cigarette vending machines were everywhere. Today, I think we’re down to 8-10? And we use snack machines with card readers. $13 for Marlboro and $20 for Elf Bars.
Quoted from Mopar:Under the Instruction Card on a Swing Along..

Weird. Why would they put their decal there???
Quoted from jrpinball:Weird. Why would they put their decal there???
Under the instruction card they wouldn't have to worry about people calling them if they lost a dime or something.

Easy for the route operator to identify a stolen machine found in a fencing operation.
Quoted from EJS:Any good stories on these guys
Not off hand. There were so many operators back then it would be impossible to know them all.

Not operator decals; but some permit stickers:
I picked up a non working firepower in Omaha NE. Grandson was selling it. His grandpa bought it in 1985 or so from an operator and had it ever since. The decals were on the apron and coin door. I removed them but it felt wrong to throw them away, it's cool knowing the history of the machine. So I glued them to card stock and will keep it in the cabinet with the manual.
Washington state had liberal gambling laws through the 1960s. From that more rugged era comes this M.J. Stanley decal found on a 1955 Bally Miami Beach bingo pinball machine. Bellevue is a Seattle suburb. M.J. Stanley appears to be long gone.
