That's about the size of a typical, American, suburban, garden/tool shed.
Joking aside, I love the aesthetic of the place, very Philip Johnson-esque.
Looks like the perfect space to hold a nice party on a sunny day.

This season has been a recovery after the 3 month drought we had starting at this time last year. Core aerating, over seeding, and very selective fertilizer application has me back at a decent baseline. The unseasonal rain THIS year has also helped tremendously, as I don’t irrigate.

I hope it didn't all wash away. I swear buying grass seed is like throwing money into the wind.
Core aerate, THEN seed...seeds gets down into the core holes exposing it to more moisture, and preventing wash away and critters eating it.
In a small area- top dress, seed, then lay down a generous layer of straw (NOT HAY) on top for protection.
I’ll offer my quick input on Tenacity. I’ve used it to great success, WHEN it was appropriate.
It works great for weeds that are already sprouted mid season, it just takes some time. It works great when you are re-seeding a lawn, early or mideseason, as it doesn’t take out seeds (grass, or weeds). Obviously we all know establishing a lawn mid-season is a no-no, but sometimes there’s no other option. It stops photosynthesis on wide leaf types, so there needs to be an already established rhizome before it will do anything. It is less “harmful” to people the moment it is spread than other standard herbicides (supposedly). (I wear long pants and an N95 when spreading “normal” varieties. I’ve used it a month after mixing, and it still worked as advertised.
It’ll be fine if you water it early morning; water will soak in to promote root growth, and the sun will dry the blades out before any mold/rot can occur.
We're in the midst of a drought here in Connecticut; we've had maybe an inch of rain in the last month/month-and-a-half. I haven't mowed the lawn since June 18th, but when I did, I cut it at 4.5" in anticipation of this weather. Grass is hanging at around 6" in most spots, but it's still mostly green. Any crazy high spots in the front yard I knocked down with the weed whacker. Sitting pretty until the anticipated storms this weekend. Nary a weed in sight with all the tall, albeit slightly brown fescue. Dormancy can be your friend when you anticipate it. Cheers all!
