I'm guessing no dogs or kids that kick those perfectly lined rocks and mulch beds. I could never keep something looking that nice with my two labs and 5 kids.

I just paid $122 for an ounce and a half of Certainty to kill my poanna, which is out of control. Nothing at Home Depot can touch it; this stuff better work as well as the Amazon reviews say. On the bright side, the March pre-emergent took care of all the other kinds of weeds. No crabgrass so far.

My chaotic driveway is finally getting in shape after last years sewer replacement.
Also decided to make it a bit bigger and shaped to make it look better.
Continue with the stones surrounding the driveway this week and maybe next week fix soil and start with the grass.

Lot's of folks use it for gravel driveways. ViperTims's driveway is looking good. Gravel is gonna want to move though. If it does, now he knows about it.

Belgium block.
So Trenton New Jersey was a industrial capital and ships would come in from overseas to load product. The hulls were filled with Belgian block as a Ballas. When they docked up a river, unloaded the block . Eventually there was so much block it was used to make streets curbs and other things it’s all over Philadelphia area as well.

Gravel will always move but atleast I’ve used one of these compactor thingys I don’t know what they’re called in English.
Also working in the stones surrounding the gravel. It’s not perfect but it’s my first time doing it.

Tamper is probably the word. The gravel is gonna want to move but the Geogrid holds it in place. What you have done looks great.

Try dry sheets at very least rub down with them.

Our house seems to be a magnet for bugs. Maybe because it's white, in the boonies, or maybe simply easier to see them?
I scrub it down every year or two. Without the bug spray - they'd be right back at with a couple of weeks.

I'm doing that now. Pool shock + TSP + Dawn + water for the win. 30 Second Outdoor Cleaner is such a rip-off. I'd rather the bugs not die on my ceiling but simply stay away. Maybe I'll plant some lavendar.

In my case, the spiders (biggest offenders) don't even make it to the place where they normally hang out (porch walls or ceiling). I do occasionally blast the area with the leaf blower just for the heck of it to help keep it clean.
Gotcha on cleaning - whatever I used before definitely before had bleach in it. I'd have to check what I used for the bug cleaner. The neighbor bought some 'Wet & Forget' for outdoor cleaning - very impressed with the results on the concrete. I bought some concentrate, currently waiting for the results.

Wet & Forget is great long term, but it takes a few days to show perfect results. I want it looking nice in 10 minutes plus I've got issues other than mildew/mold. The pool shock is 10% bleach. A couple cups of that plus a few tablespoons of TSP. Add a few squirts of regular Dawn, then fill the gallon sprayer the rest of the way with water. Mist it, spray that shi*, wait 10 minutes, maybe scrub the bad spots a bit, blast the rest off. Done...

I never even heard of it until about a month ago. Surprised me, I tend to google reviews of stuff to use before buying, it never popped up. Pretty bengin compared to bleach or other chemicals.

I was picturing a wife or girlfriend sitting on it. Hey baby let’s go mow the yard! Now you can enjoy the fun too! Good times!
I actually enjoy mowing. Outdoor exercise and you get to see lots of interesting things. I’ve had my eyes peeled lately looking for turtles.

I've had some deep down stuff that it did not work on. It works on a lot of it though and keeps it from coming back for a long time.
