Provincial flower of Ontario. The Trillium. Bloom early spring and temperamental to habitat.
Most bloom white , some pink.

I got a bunch trillium growing wild out back, wife transplanted some into the landscaped areas.

I have to try this or another product called sedge hammer. I have nutsedge that looks like crap when it grows faster than the rest of the grass in the summer.

Not exactly lawn related but put this fence up last weekend in 90 degree heat. Still need to add post caps and put a light back on the outside post.

Needed to hide my firewood and misc yard waste repository since it faces the street. Lucked into 6 large Crown Cork & Seal plastic pallets to keep wood off the ground. Will need to burn these two rotted ones.

And yes, the shed needs some attention

I ordered the Tenacity, surfacant, and sprayer last night. I'll apply this weekend. Hope it works as well as everyone says.

I've had great results with it, but patience is a virtue w/that stuff (and probably a 2nd application). Rather odd seeing white 'weeds' in the yard.

The other thing you might want to try is some blue dye from a place like Tractor Supply, Rural King, etc. Makes it easy to spot what was sprayed and what was missed. It's not permanent, so if you get some on landscaping/house/whatever...it'll fade after a couple of days. But no doubt, some will end up on your hands!

Here's a pic I took long time ago of something turning white after getting blasted w/Tencaity:

Front yard was sod put down a little over a year ago when house was completed. Back yard was field grass that I have been treating and overseeding a tall fescue seed. The back yard will take some time to get sorted out but starting to look good. I have a few yellow/brown areas in the front yard sod. Not sure what is going on there but looks decent. Just purchased a Spartan mower that has a really nice cut.

Just found this thread. A few pics of our little patch.

Things a bit messy around the Bali Hut at the moment - i built it 14 years ago and time for a rethatch now. I recently built the steel arch over our entrance, can't wait until the vine climbs all over and the yellow flowers are dangling from the top.

Lawn was all couch, but over the years has transitioned to mainly buffalo - we get around 1 metre of rain per year which the buffalo loves. Not unusual for our whole 2 acres to be 10cm underwater for a few days at a time in heavy rainfall.

buy a dollar store garden stake that you can easily move to keep your hose nozzle off the ground.
Don’t waste your time buying cheap on sale kink Crap plastic hoses. Pay extra for rubber.

I've been enjoying No Mow May for the pollinators. We only have a small patch of lawn over the leach field. The rest is woods.

At one point I had to mow after the dandelions went to seed. I found that if I did half the lawn (small electric corded mower - no fumes, quiet), alternating each week, it would keep enough flowers around for the honeybees.

Weird, I got mine thru Amazon. Here's the link of my purchase from the seller: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005DUTNF0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title

Is that the same seller as your purchase?
