My brother just picked up a 34 World's Series for me and I have yet to see it. it was refinished and chopped at some point, but seems good. Here is a video of him playing it with my niece and nephew. They are pumped, as am I. Now I just need him to get comfortable shipping it!

P.S. a generous pinsider tipped me off to the possibility that a cryptic Craigslist ad was possibly this game. I'll leave it to him to reveal himself if he wants, but let me say he's been a huge help over the past couple years.

The ad was titled 'old pinball machine' and only had the txt below with no pics.

Originally painted silver with full length legs
this one shortened and refinished at some time

    Quoted from Frax:

You know what....you guys all suck. Greg gets a Fleet, you get the World Series, Jeff is Jeff, and I have a hole on the left side of my lineup.

Too bad mine is still in Boston. I wanted that fleet, but this isn't the worst consolation prize.

    Quoted from way2wyrd:

I'm so jealous of that world series. I'm after an army navy if anyone knows where one is
    -Jeff

Surely you know me well enough to realize I'll probably sell it for 70% of what i paid within 6 months...

IMG_1813_zps9ef5d9a0.jpgIMG_1813_zps9ef5d9a0.jpgNow I have two at my brother's house waiting for me to pick up. Anyone driving from Boston to Austin this summer? Tickets bought for me to fly to my brother's place in Boston in a couple weeks and ship my 2 little games. Anyone have suggestions on how to ship? I was thinking about just putting the bodies, well wrapped, into a box and just heading to the fed-ex store. Another thought is to see if I could qualify them as oversize carry-ons for the plane.

The games are above, a world's series and a pennant.

    Thoughts?

    Quoted from Nate:

I have some detailed instructions for packing for shipment on my Rockola pinball website:

Hope this helps. It's always worked well for me.
    Nate

Thanks, I'll probably do that and once I get it home I'll be placing a large order with you as well.
