Who owns, or even has access to, a pitch-and-bat made by Exhibit Supply? I'm compiling some updates on pitch-and-bats for IPDB and the Mr. Pinball book, and there is very little info out there.

Owners of pitch-and-pat games are well rewarded with Bonus Points when they bring one to show at Pintastic New England. In view of the apparent scarcity of Exhibit products of this type, I just cranked up the Bonus Points to 8 for an Exhibit pitch-and-bat, which is on top of other Bonus Points earned by any pitch-and-bat game of the 1950s.

Exhibit Supply pitch and bats are scarce. I would like see and play just about any game produced by that manufacturer. I am currently restoring this 1953 Exhibit Space Gun.

but keep in mind it's thinner than the original and the metal trim will have to be tapped/banged to close the gap.
I choose to put a 1/16" piece of lexan/plastic that is mostly shatterproof in front of my new bullseye - but then had
to find something else to hold the two together since they now were too thick for the metal edging. really hard to find
something that will work -so I used Mcmaster Carr #8451A91 black u-channel push on trim

I have a Baseball Champ that I would sell. It is currently not working - probably because no one has played it in years. I am not too skilled in repairing EM games and it is probably an easy fix.

63' Williams Major League - Mechanically Restored not cosmetically correct. Don't matter still love the game and will restore to it's original cosmetics down the road have a few other projects to restore first...only 5...well technically 6 trying to wrap up my 72' Haunted House.

I realise chances are slim, but does anyone have P&B games for sale in Europe? Already got the 52 Williams Deluxe World Series, but looking to add to that.

Did anyone here buy the Williams World Series that was on Ebay in Pennsylvania? The seller ended the auction early. It was a restored machine that looked nice.

Anyone have an extra batting unit for a Williams Line Drive? The linkage on mine is worn out (both pieces! The plate that pulls on the bat post, and the bat post itself), so the bat won't swing when the batting coil pulls in.

theadicts77 May I ask where you got that Deluxe World Series from? Could it be it the one that was auctioned off in that awesome classic arcade collection in The Netherlands a few years ago (see picture)?

Need some advice - I have a 1951 Williams Super World Series. I'm trying to decide between selling it as a restoration project, or parting it out.

The situation is as follows: it's got a new vinyl playfield overlay on it, but the overlay is for the 1953 / 54 Wiliams pitch and bats, not the '51. It's missing the batting unit, though I've heard that other later model batting units will work as a replacement. The parts have been pulled off the underside of the playfield, so those need to be re-mounted. Everything else seems to be there. It does have the lockdown bar, and the proper pull hardware for the front of the cabinet - the metal molded bat and the ball release. The coin entry plate has a small piece cracked off.

Is this a desirable enough title to restore? I've mainly had pitch and bats from the '62 World Series and later.

As a restoration project, what value do you think it has?

I have the sister 52 Deluxe world series that has the same internals.

It could very well be that one. If the cabinet has been painted over in the original scheme, it probably is. Not that many Pitch-and-Bats around in Europe.

That Genco Hi-Fly in the picture used to be mine. It's now in the Dutch Pinball Museum. One of the Evans Ten Strikes in the pic is still mine.

Currently restoring a Williams 1962 World Series. Applying the graphics to the cabinet this week. Lower board and playfield are done. Many, many hours into it thus far.

I think you will be ok. If you search for dimensions there was one that sold at auction. They list the length at 65.75". I'm guessing some of that is the bat handle that could be adjusted upward to gain a little bit.

It's a great game. I miss mine. I sold my Skill Roll and 4 Bagger to a buddy. After some time he sold me Skill Roll back but wanted to keep 4 Bagger.

Those All-American Quarterback games are sweet — thanks for posting! I love the running man action, and imagine that kids back in ‘49 must have been pretty bedazzled by that.

I’ve got a nice example of AAQ’s baseball brother from that year, the ‘49 Star Series. Playfield is pristine, and it has the original plate glass with screened instructions. Gameplay is classic Williams pitch-and-bat. I believe it’s the second game Williams made with the vertical running man unit circling the bases on the backglass.

Mr. Red bobblehead topper nods his approval...even when I hit a pop-up with the bases loaded...

I've recently joined the group with a Slugfest and a 1968 Ball Park. Slugfest is up and running great but the Ball Park is stuck in a reset loop. Does anybody have a manual / start up procedure so I can take a shot at figuring out whats wrong ?.

Question about a williams 1962 world series pitching motor: I'm restoring the machine after sitting for 40 years and was cleaning the underside of the playfield with it removed from the machine. On the pitching motor, one dog that actuates a switch stack was seized. I suspected the other dogs were sticky too, and when I touched it the unit/arm mechanically 'pitched'. I'm glad my finger wasn't in there! Question: If the unit/arm moved without the motor turning, did I lose a winding on my spring? Do I need to put another wind back on? I'm still trying to mechanically understand this unit...

No, the motor when it is engaged will wind the spring tension again. (Working on the same machine here)

Thanks for the input. I will hook it back up and watch it function to better understand it. I've got all the dogs de gummed, so it should behave now. It must do a (spring) release step and wind step during each revolution?
