Quoted from pinnut:

here is my Genco jumpin jacks game:
i put a video of my genco jumpin jacks on youtube.
1953 Genco Jumpin Jacks. it looks a like a vertical pinball/pachinko , but its actually a gambling device. the flipper button gave it just enough involved "skill" to skirt the laws. you get six balls for a nickel and use the flipper to try to aim where you want the ball to go. after the six balls, you can hold down the left button when you drop another nickel. that will continue your game, at 1 more ball for the nickel. you can do that for up to 6 more balls, at 30 cents. after those six additional balls, a nickel will reset the game, like it or not. if you think you are close, you buy in for more balls. if you get a lousy start, you drop a nickel without holding the button, and start fresh with 6 balls. spell jac, 3 points. spell jack, 7 points. jacki, 10 pts, jackin 20 points. same with the blue. lite all the red or blue on one coin, 100 pts. lite all the letters in 1 game( 12 balls) , 200 pts. i thought i would have to film for half an hr to put up points, but the video is the actual play, best game ive ever put up. one in a while you get a mystery spot, the game will start with a letter lit. if you have points, each point will get you a nickel's worth of play, or you could cash the points in with the establishment. who knows what the payouts were. if you did cash in ,the owner would push a small button in the top of the cabinet, and reset the points to zero. there are switches on the inside, to set it a bit easier to win. they aren't set in the video.

Quoted from ramegoom:

Recent electrical toy in my game room. I'm learning how to be a telephone operator in the process. Found this at an estate sale and knew nothing about it, so went on to a learning curve. After adding ten telephones and a ton of wire, it is now fully functional. Basically an intercom, not attached to an outside line (who has that anymore?) but still a cool toy. Vintage and antique phones scattered throughout the game room makes it complete.

Cmon you've got to be able to use an outside line!! How cool is that?

Hello pinsiders.
Here my two bowlers,Williams 1970 mini bowl and United Regal Bowling Alley 1963 (my birthday year).
I need to make place to set up the Regal bowler, perhaps this summer?
Take care and play pinball.

Here's a vintage 60s Rockwell Taxi Meter that I modified, added a small motor and made it work (in fast motion) when you drop the flag.

Quoted from ultimategameroom:

I was going thru a drawer today and found this. Easily the nicest business card I have ever seen.
I was fortunate to have met Bill a few times before he passed and purchased almost every book he released.

That's so cool! Any idea where this Philly gameroom expo was? Never heard of it.

Fort Washington Convention Center in Fort Washington Pa. Right off 309 in the Industrial park.

Wish I would have known, went to the outdoor show there every year back then.

72 days between posts is too long! Here's my contribution to preserving a bit of bowler history. Just completed the restoration on this Bowlette. A long, but satisfying journey!
