The 'Silverball Express' circles my modest gameroom. This is an 80s era Lionel HO set, given to me by a friend who had it stored in his attic 'for about 25 years.' It will soon be joined by my late BiL's O gauge Lionel, from the 70's, and a second HO set I picked up on freecycle. Shelf space limits what I can do with them, but so far, it seems to add to the fun of the gameroom. I am trying to stay a pinball guy who happens to have trains, rather than a train guy who happens to have pins, but I gotta say, I'm having a blast restoring these old trains.

Quoted from cait001:

Do you have any train cars that could haul pinballs along?

Not pinballs, they're too heavy. But come this fall, I'm going to go to hobby lobby or michaels and get some little silver Christmas balls and load up a couple of the gondola cars with them. I have an airbrush for pf restorations, so some of the freight cars might get a custom paint job, Bally or Gottlieb logos, etc...
