Royal Crown Bowler (Brackets) - Pinsetter.jpg
This is the part, that I NEED. Thanks!
Dan

Dan,

I was able to make a bracket similar. But not exact. Clay at the Ann Arbor Pinball Museum allowed me to remove the bracket for quick measurements All I had was 1/8" stock to use a little thicker than the original at 3/32". And the press fit stud is now a slot allowing for adjustment. Also the lower flange is not there becasue my shop does not have a bending brake. The first picture is from Clay's bowler, the next two is what I made for your bowler.

[attachment=2577894,undefined caption="bowler 002.JPG"]I just bought this 1963 Chicago Coin GRAND SPARE LITE BOWLER. A friend bought it first but could not get it into his basement. So he delivered it. It does work and needs a coil on the player stepper. Yep, the front half of the lane is from a different bowler. Not sure what year/model the front lane is. It even has the guards, not pictured, to protect the pin deck and backglass from those who like to bowl overhand. I have a lot of cleaning to do BEFORE final reassembly.// Error: Image 432324 not found //// Error: Image 432324 not found //

Damn I want a ball bowler. No room!!

there is the small ball bowler, and the shuffle puck "bowler" theu take up less space.

Most Big Ball Bowlers have a 4.5" diameter ball. The ball rolls under the pins and over swicthes that make the pins retract. One game has leather covered pins that the ball actually makes contact with. My bowler has what is called a "Detroit Deck" where the pins are on a second deck that has the switches on the bottom side. (first picture) Also it had red arrows, inserted into the lane, that lite up showing you where to bowl to make the spare.

Bally made bowlers with leather covered pins that the ball actually makes contact with. (second picture)

Does this Qualify??? A solar powered TOMMY calculator

Reported to be a promotional Item for the tourof The Who's Tommy, original cast (1992 Broadway Revival)
The story behind it is that about 100 were made for Data East employees to be given out in 1994 or 1995.

Quoted from gliebig:

Turned my bowler on the other day. Heard a louder than usual buzzing sound. Opened the back door and saw smoke coming from this area on the lower right hand side of the door. Bad coil? Any ideas what I should look for? This is my first bowler/em.[quoted image]

something caused the coil to lock on. like a stuck switch.
get the schematic for it, you made need professional help with it. (not me)

Quoted from homegameroom:

I keep stalking online (well, mostly eBay) for one of these or a small gumball vendor/slot machine/trade stimulator. I often chicken out- I’m afraid of getting something with missing parts.

Best bet is to buy local and test before buying,
bring cash and or body guard depending how much cash.
Or have your local bank cut a check for purchase price with seller present.
