This gameroom was a few miles from my home for 25 years and is now located in Florida. It's new upstairs location is a much larger space and I still get to enjoy it. The ball bowler has always been his main attraction at all his party's and always got played non stop.

Picked this 1924-1926 Chester Pollard Football machine. It was in a home in NJ for a long time and is in good condition. It came with some NOS sweaters or Jerseys. Has original coin box too. Last picture has some info I found on the internet. This machine is the smaller version model. Works perfect too.

Quoted from edward472:Nice find. I didn't know they made a smaller version.
I read somewhere that they made this cut-down version because the smaller size children couldn't see inside the machine while they were playing the game. There are less of these smaller versions than the taller model manufactured, but less desirable perhaps.
There is a flyer or instruction paperwork that explains exactly how a player must control the handle tension which move the players legs faster or slower inside the playing field. It even explains how to pass the ball from player to another player, which can possibly make the game more interesting to play. For sure a player will have to have many plays and hours on this machine to get even close to being good enough to maneuver the ball throughout the playfield to score a goal.
