Quoted from InfiniteLives:

1963 United "Fury" 16 foot ball bowler is now set up in the basement. built some legs and put casters on it so it can slide in and out. my wife has won every game so far and my dog loves watching the ball return lol
[quoted image]

Funny, my dog cowers at the noise.
The cat however has no fear!

Very nice i'm in the middle of bringing my 13ft 1963 United Sabre back to life and i'm totally envious of your 16ft model.

I have one of those. Works like a champ, converted to 100% LEDs.

Quoted from bobnatlanta:

The 'Silverball Express' circles my modest gameroom. This is an 80s era Lionel HO set, given to me by a friend who had it stored in his attic 'for about 25 years.' It will soon be joined by my late BiL's O gauge Lionel, from the 70's, and a second HO set I picked up on freecycle. Shelf space limits what I can do with them, but so far, it seems to add to the fun of the gameroom. I am trying to stay a pinball guy who happens to have trains, rather than a train guy who happens to have pins, but I gotta say, I'm having a blast restoring these old trains.
[quoted image]

Thats a great setup and model training is a great hobby. I look forward to seeing the 0 gauge which normally look terrific on an overhead layout.

I hardly ever play the old Slot machine, but last night while waiting for bondo to set,
after playing a couple machines, I figured I'd check out the slot for a change. After
dropping in the 3rd nickel, 3 oranges rolled up for a 10 nickel win, which is pretty good
itself. After dropping in the 5th nickel, 2 bars showed in the window then the 3rd reel
stopped showing the 3rd bar. After having the old Mills for 20 plus years, it's the first
time it hit the Jackpot. Not much now, but a little chunk of change back in 1938..

That's around $85 today, right?

I'd be good with that!

I have a M.S.I. Mini-Swing Rotary Merchandiser. I am looking for the coin return post. It could come off of anything. It just needs to be 1/4” wide.

I figure someone had some junk floating around in a pile somewhere. Please let me know if you have something that will work.

Completed full resto of a Groetchen 1930s Skill Jump skill game.
Machine had been refinished in a dark walnut colour which I stripped and returned to what I believe was close to the original toning.

canon17052020 002 (resized).JPG

canon17052020 004 (resized).JPG

Playfield for it age was in quite good condition but stripped and a couple of wear spots remedied, metal components evapoed and polished. All op components serviced and the Bakelite adjustment handle repaired with cold weld and refinished.

canon150520 004 (resized).JPG

canon17052020 007 (resized).JPG

canon17052020 006 (resized).JPG

Ball to be played is propelled vertically up the enclosed left trail. Currently loaded with 5/8in balls although not sure whether perhaps 1/2in originally.
Fully working as it should and extremely difficult game to conquer which undoubtedly would have earned a mint on location.

Does anyone know how many balls I’m to use in this game?
It seems a little too generous with scoring.

Judging by the backglass I'd guess 5.

Cool looking game!

#1834 8 months ago

I have a Rocket Shuffle. ( Same game ) It is supposed to have 7 balls in it. As far as generous scoring, the most I have ever gotten on mine is 1,800,000. And I've played it a lot.

Posted this over in another thread but thought I would share with you guys who definitely have ball bowlers. I picked up a bunch of backglass in a deal yesterday and don't really need any of them. Pics are of lower backglasses for pinhoods or whatever and the ones in the 1st pic are in very good condition 1 is still wrapped in bubble wrap. The upper backglasses I have are Galleon, Polaris, Classic Deluxe, Mini-Bowl, Jumbo Bowling Alley, 2 of the Team-Mate glasses are in very good shape, Matador, Century, Princess, Continental and last a Cypress. Only a few of the lower backglasses have names on them so I can't identify them all. If anyone is interested in and needs one for their machine send me a pm and we can try to work something out. Bill
