Hell yeah thats Cool! Any chance your selling anything like this?? Really looks great.
Thanks, I like them too. The dome lights up when on. Sounds pretty good to me, too.
Check out Detroit Diecast online.
Their page may be down now. The owner said he shuts it down when he has too much work backed up. Said it would be back up shortly.

You can't help but to give that a Thumbs Up!
Here's my old school pachinko machine. One day I'll get around to restoring it...

Quoted from gliebig:9 and a spare frame one, strikes every frame after. Sooooooo close.
That has to be a Marti Gras Big Ball. That's a damn good score.
What length is that machine? I think my high score on a goose neck
bowler was 278. That was on a 20 footer (Top Hat)..
I have the same bowler and i messed up on the 7th frame with a 9 pin spare... so I too was one away from perfect. Done that a few times but the 7th frame game is the best i have been able to do. Finished it out with strikes. So mad I missed in the 7th and not the 10th (for higher score).

Dammit - wish I had room for one.....
Just completed resto of an Advance 1930s Shock Tester.
This actual machine had featured on American Pickers some years ago. The guy that sold it to me had been a neighbour of Frank from the show and from whom he had purchased. Interestingly it would appear from a marking inside the upper section of the housing that the machine was originally owned by 'Oakland Novelty Store'. I have not been able to discover any info on this store but if anyone has any info I would really like to hear.
Machine works perfectly and is a real hit within my gameroom.

That's sweet didn't know it was the last one
I had a digital one but it never worked right plus doesn't have the chimes etc
I plan on restoring it one day.
Love the lazy Susan head design
Hey everyone i'm working on my 1963 united sabre ball bowler and ran into a snag. Mopar has been helping me out a ton with some needed parts but I am missing 5 of the round pins that hold the actual pins on and 3 others are missing the tiny hairpin clips and he doesn't have any extras. Is there any chance anyone on here has any of these they would be willing to part with? I need a total of 5 pins and 8 of the tiny hairpin clips. If you haven't seen it yet you can check out what i've been doing over on my thread. Thanks guys, Bill. https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/reviving-a-1963-united-sabre-ball-bowler-

Did you post in the EM seeking parts thread? I always have good luck there
Quoted from edward472:Did you post in the EM seeking parts thread? I always have good luck there
Will give that a try also just thought this group being more geared towards bowlers I would have better luck in here.

You should be able to replace the hairpin clips with eclips. You can should be able to find one pretty easy that will fit and do the same job.
Just completed resto on a Daval 1940s Gusher trade stimulator. Machine takes a nickel and provides tokens out right hand side for symbol wins. Bonus door on the front is for jackpot in which I have lodged a dollar bill. Nice looking machine and plays smooth and precise.

This restore looks amazing, love these mini units. What does “jackpot in which I have lodged a dollar bill” mean? Is that the award you put in for some form of jackpot?
Quoted from Yelobird:This restore looks amazing, love these mini units. What does “jackpot in which I have lodged a dollar bill” mean? Is that the award you put in for some form of jackpot?
There is a bonus door on the machine front. The bonus or jackpot would normally be given for a specific 3 of a kind-in this case x3 daval. The door is manually released by the operator. Alternatively the bonus could be given by the token value which is dispensed from the side chute
Quoted from presqueisle:Very nice machine!!
I’m always interested in how these different games worked in the ‘wild’. Here is something I found posted regarding it.[quoted image]
Very interesting-thks. I had not posted a pic of the rear of the bonus door-here goes
Very cool. Have you had luck finding the correct size ‘good for’ tokens?
I have quarters spitting out of one, cents another..hard to find the different token numbers/values.

The machine came with around 42 non original 'good for' tokens in a range of denominations. This is a '3'

I would dearly love to have a full set of the originals. There is one on ebay currently where the seller is asking $US14.95!!
Quoted from gliebig:Game 1 tonight.
Yea, but that was on Flash..
What size is your machine, 16'?
My best on a goose neck was 272 on a 20 footer..

This was regulation.
Had a perfect step up game the other day.
16'
Quoted from gliebig:Had a perfect step up game the other day.
You were zoned in!
I have a couple in the game room, but they only score regulation,
but I remember the other games. Although mostly playing
Regulation, I remember liking Dual Flash. Some liked Red Pin.
Still have one goose neck set up at the local VFW..
In case anyone missed my acquisition from the other thread, here's my 1966 United's Amazon 16 footer.
Comes with
* regulation
* flash
* dual flash
* strike 90
* bonus lane
She'll need a paint job, and I'm still putting her together, but overall should be a fun machine.

What do you have your strikes jumper set to? Mine is on the hard setting so you have to hit the little pin switch.
Quoted from Pugsley:What do you have your strikes jumper set to? Mine is on the hard setting so you have to hit the little pin switch.
I think mine only has easy/normal.
So normal.

Not sure where this setting even is, is it typically in the backbox or where?
has anyone ever seen Perfect Bowler before? a cool bowler in a pinball cabinet!
I'm assuming this only ever came out in Japan?
Kinda like a Big Lebowksi without all that pinball in the way
as spotted here: https://rocketnews24.com/2018/07/30/1095473/

That is an awesome looking game. Those look like Sega or Chicago Coin score reels.

Yeah its a jumper in the back. Mine has 3 positions and its set on hard.
The 'Silverball Express' circles my modest gameroom. This is an 80s era Lionel HO set, given to me by a friend who had it stored in his attic 'for about 25 years.' It will soon be joined by my late BiL's O gauge Lionel, from the 70's, and a second HO set I picked up on freecycle. Shelf space limits what I can do with them, but so far, it seems to add to the fun of the gameroom. I am trying to stay a pinball guy who happens to have trains, rather than a train guy who happens to have pins, but I gotta say, I'm having a blast restoring these old trains.

Do you have any train cars that could haul pinballs along?
Quoted from cait001:Do you have any train cars that could haul pinballs along?
Not pinballs, they're too heavy. But come this fall, I'm going to go to hobby lobby or michaels and get some little silver Christmas balls and load up a couple of the gondola cars with them. I have an airbrush for pf restorations, so some of the freight cars might get a custom paint job, Bally or Gottlieb logos, etc...
