My favorite: six clear acrylic skulls lit with LEDs color-matched and wired to to the six mode inserts in the playfield, drilled and tapped and mounted on custom made bent stainless steel brackets to form a skull pile on top of Scared Stiff. The skulls light in six different patterns (including some I call "waterfall" and "chase" and "all flash") during the attract mode and even more patterns during gameplay. And, of course, completing a mode and lighting the playfield insert for it also lights the corresponding skull in the same color (the white skull tied to the dead heads mode is not lit in the pic below). Sorry for the crappy picture, as the actual topper looks fantastic in person.
