Have you made a video of that Lazer Lord in action yet?

What does it sound like?

Quoted from pinballslave:

This game is one of my favourite rare finds, it was love at first sight! Clearly the gameplay isn't going to be up to much, but for some reason the sparseness of the playfield made it even more alluring... This game will never leave me! As you can see, what look like standup targets are actually drop targets! The company that made this game only made one title... (this one, just to clarify ) I'm sure there can't be many left... Spanish law meant that operators had to destroy machines once they came off site... absolutely crazy, but true!! The survivors were the ones that only law-breaking operators kept hold of...! To me, that makes them even more special...

Does it have electronic scoring?

Do any of the electronic parts in that game have date codes on them?

Siremar is an EM game...

It has the best looking head design of any game I've ever seen.

The holy grail of rare NOS parts. Got this a long time ago from my distributor.

Probably worth $1000 today

Quoted from CaptainNeo:

Someone was working on repos...didn't it ever get released? they had it almost perfect to the tee. Mold was made for the reflection stamping.

I saw them.

Although they were stamped foil, they did not have any of the rolling motion effect that the real ones had.

Totally worthless.

Great video!

Most innocent version of Also Sprach Zarathustra I've every heard, lol

Quoted from pinballslave:

Here's another game you don't see so often... in fact I've only seen it once! I love the captive ball system on this one and the way the energy from the playfield ball is transferred to it! I was very confused when I first got it because I thought the captive balls had been removed... I was also puzzled why the targets were so high up... then the penny dropped and I realised the captive balls aren't half as captive as I thought!!

That has to be the best art package of any game ever made!

Have you made a video of that yet? I've never seen one in the States....

Downvoted for being disrespectful to someone's beliefs.

Keep religion off of Pinside.

I didn't see anyone crapping on the "Bible Adventures" pin thread.

That was a great idea.

Quoted from Frax:

Apparently so was buying a trashed out church and converting it into a pinball hall.

If you named it "Our Lady of the Silver Ball", you could save a fortune on taxes.

And don't get me wrong, if something is ironically funny, I'm the first to laugh.

While I don't like religious comedy (I fear judgement after death), even jesus would like pinball.

We'll all find out soon enough....

Quoted from PinballHelp:

Should we also ban the reference to the months or days of the week, since those reference religious figures as well?

Yes, but not Thor's-day.

I always liked Thor.

Quoted from xTheBlackKnightx:

There is absolutely NO reason to reclear coat a NOS playfield.

^ BAD ADVICE ^

The reason you should clear NOS playfields (especially 70 through 80s) is that the wood fibers have never been compressed.

When the games were new, the ink and lacquer coatings were fresh and soft.

Back in the day, as the wood fibers became compressed and dimpled by the ball, the soft coatings would follow along.

BUT now that those coatings are 40 years old, the lacquer has of course become brittle.

As the wood fibers start to become compressed on a NOS playfield, the lacquer and ink quickly chips away.

Making matters worse, the cupped inserts on many NOS playfields create tons of airballs, further accelerating the playfield wear.

-

I have hundreds of emails from pinheads who installed a NOS playfield unprotected, and then ask "Is this normal????" when the game has tons of chips and keyline wear in only a few months.

One recent victim was a New-In-Crate populated Supersonic playfield that a guy installed last year.

The seller told him "Just install new rubber and drop it into your cab. Instant brand new Supersonic!!!!"

Sadly, he followed that advice.
