Mystery Castle Prototype Game with proto playfield and cabinet.

On the playfield missing color and labeling.
The cabinet was former garageband, the red was overpainted, no sprenkels on the outside.

4 years ago my friend Matt in the USA found a NIB Dinosaur Egg in a corner of a supermarket.
So he bought it and offered me his "old" DE. fair enough he asked the price he paied years ago. A very very nice offer and deal !
But .. the game was in the USA. I am located in Germany with my little Alvin G. collection.
So Matt packed a palette with the pin and some month later we found a solution. An other friend has a business partner in New York. So the pin went to New York and was stored an other year until a container was packed for Germany.
Than the pin was located for an other year in Germany in my friends collection.
2 weeks ago I invited a pinhead to play Alien und TBL, he was so nice and picked up my DE and after around 4 years it is now in my collection. After small fixes it play, but I am working on the topper right now.

Here is a quick view on my rare stuff:

Gameroom at home:
All Capcom machines in a row.
- Flipper Football
- Breakshot
- KingPin
- Big Bang Bar
- Airborne
- Pinball magic

3 Alvin G. pinballs

Rented room, 3 Alvin G. machines but the 3 from my gameroom will also move to this location. That would be the largest Alvin G. collection in Europe

- Mystery Castle, 1 of around 300, prototype
- Pistol Poker, 1 of 200
- Garage Band, 1 of 1200
- USA Football head-To-Head, 1 of 100
- USA Football redemtion , 1 of 11, prototype
- Dinosaur Eggs, 1 of 100

Sorry, no stolen parts in my house

I have a proto T2 playfield, a proto Pistol Poker playfield, as shown a USA Football redemtion playfield ... but bought them over 10 years ago in one batch from Rick when he bought all the stuff from Gene. He sold all this over his "PPS forums" ... long time ago ...
My USA Football comes from a german fellow and the Redemtion some weeks ago from Australia (was a nightmare to get it to Europe).

My BBB is a homebrew remake (was a Airborne) , also my Kingpin (was a Breakshot and a cabinet from a FlipperFootball) But I see ... you saw the playfields on my gamerooms roof .

Quoted from MattElder:

Not me who got it either, but as rare as those are, there are probably more of them around than the 11 prototype games. I have grabbed a couple of them over the years.

But the redemtion game is soooo slooow .... there is no need for a playfield swap

Quoted from Gundam_Pilot_:

He meant that you “stole it” as in meaning they got it for a great price.

Thank you, due I am not a native speaker this might be missunderstood.
But I could read that it was not meaned on a serious way

Yes, this is a real one of a kind and was lost for years.
I know a longer time about that machine, the owner is a friend of mine and this machine is the highlight in an unbelievable collection. It was a big secret because they went this year to the USA, now they returned from their pinball trip and show the machine to the pinball world.
The machine was renovated by pinballdreams and it is ... a dream.
I love the form it is build. Too bad it is just a prototype. I think in the old days the market was not ready for such an innovation.

Last week I visited a friend, he is the owner of the "one of a kind" prototype KISS machine.
Very cool and plays like new.

This is one of three prototypes. One was destroyed in the USA, one is lost in France and this beauty was and is in Germany. In this days germany was a big market.

Yes it was and is prohibited. But this is a proto game, so on the glass is the "hard S", the playfield is "normal S".
The playfield is not wood, it is plastic.

let me know which machines have the same cabinet. The backglass is other size than regular ones.
The sticker on the coindoor is also original. Never saw this before.
