Quoted from Kerry_Richard:I recently PC'd my TZ in gloss black. I installed the PC'd metal yesterday. I used a brand new micro fiber cloth and "Sparkle" window cleaner, to remove light residue & fingerprints. I now have many ultra-fine scratches in the surface.
I own other PC games that came NIB w/ PC WOZ / ACDC and don't have these issues.
Power Coat questions:
Is there a time frame to allow it to set up?
Is there another cleaning method to avoid this?
Would a coat of good wax hide / eliminate the ultra fine scratches?
I have 2 more pins I'm going to PC (Indiana Jones & another TZ).
Thanks for your input.
Kerry
That’s the nice thing about high gloss black . I buffed using some fine 3m polishing compound and then wax .
