There are some very nice machines here. It's nice to see so much personality come out in the hobby. Some of my local buds have done amazing powder coating. I personally prefer the stock metal of the 90s BW games. I'm thinking that Ghostbusters premium is prime for coating. The Stern Flat black is ripe for replacement with a nice purple. In person, the game has a like of pink and purple on the cabinet. This will be fun.

Powder Police aside, The Mirror Universe is my favorite one off custom pin that I have seen. The powder color is great for that game. It's obvious it was a labor of love. Zit is the Spinal Tap of Trekkies. His love for ST goes to 11.

Quoted from ulmpharmd:

I've seen that color (illusion berry) and honestly I think it's too dark (it's much darker in person and it takes a lot of light to bring out that metal flake) ...my bud is getting a premium and I think we are going to do illusion violet on it..it's the same color I used on my CV...but the great thing is that there is no wrong choice as long as you like it!

Bud here

Looking forward to ULM's color selection skills

Quoted from markmon:

Coin door, legs and shooter housing look darker due to overcast lighting but it's the same as the lockdown and rails. Very nice multi stage glossy purple. So shiny it shows fingerprints like chrome.

Love it 100%!

Quoted from Butch2099:

Do the weld spots coming through bother you guys? I was expecting them to come out perfect like a factory machine would. I'm told that it's totally normal.
It bothers me to the point that I probably wouldn't do it again.

I've not seen that before. Surely there is more to that. Maybe your powder person does something different. Experts chime in here please.

Good eye, that would be illusion royal.
Half the people say its purple and half say it's blue . Exactly what I was going for .

Looks great golfingdad. I love the purple refinery uses on their Metallica and was looking for something in the purple/blue range for my GB Premium. I may go with the one you chose.
