Ive had a few of my games done . All parts were sandblasted down to bare metal first, even though two of the sets were brand new. Orange with flake on the GOTG looks reall nice & The Ghostbusters has a glow in the dark clear coat on it as well. And I cant find pics of my transformers

I've had about 20 games done., Powder coating makes such a nice addition. Normally I don't like to repeat colors, but I just had Mandalorian and GNR done and went with same color on both.

Had Godzilla done last month, has a nice silver flake sparkle in the clear

Quoted from Medic:

Any tips on removing these screws on stern coin door? Tried everything I had in the house but there is not much clearance for a socket to go in there.
[quoted image]

Those suck removing , especially the ones in-between the coin mechs.. I have lots of powder coated games, and only did one coin door because of this. When I put it back together, I used Phillips head bolts that were same size instead of those,

So getting Bond this weekend, and probably getting it powdered next week..no color schemes jump out at me, thinking just red to match the lines on the poster side & the Dr No letters ??

Quoted from Meegis:

White could work well as it will pull from the girls clothing and posters, but it could be stark for some people.

Got bond today , I thought those lines were red in the pics , turns out they are orange & so is the T molding..so looks like it will be power coated orange..

Well this is annoying, anyone else notice! I didn't notice when I had Godzilla done because I have an extra set of metals, then just swap them out when done. Was taking parts off for bond to be done. The new shooter housings have a stern logo, it's a sticker...no big deal take it off..but wait..they all have two holes in them now! That is gonna look like garbage powder coated! I'm going to take one off of one of my older sterns I never had powder coated.

Quoted from Jarbyjibbo:

Maybe they are leftovers from JP that they are burning through by adding the sticker?

Why would the Jurasic park ones have holes?

#1923 1 year ago

Ahh.. mystery solved. Guess I'll have to leave the decall on

Got my Bond parts back from powder coating, the hinges logos turned out great! That's black powder, not decals.
