Quoted from Selig:

Just finished replacing the t-molding on my Star Wars premium. The black and chrome look great with the infinite sparkle powder coat from Robertstone0407

That looks friggin amazing, wow. Makes me want to get a Star Wars with the $3k rare topper. That game is beautiful!

Quoted from Pinkitten:

I enjoyed customizing my t-molding after I got past the first one. It’s not very hard at all. I recommend using a hand vac to suck up all the little wood splinters and dust you’ll free up as you pull the original molding off. Keep the playfield glass on, or you’ll get that wood dust on it. I take the old/original t-molding and measure it to see how much new I need, then add an inch to be sure I don’t come up short. You’ll trim any excess at the end. I start under the head, in the middle, where you want the seam to end up. Start pressing firmly into the channel until it accepts the new molding. The rubber mallet sold at T-molding.com is helpful for stubborn/tight areas, but you can usually use your thumb to push it into place. I’ve changed t-molding on 8-10 pins and it can make a big difference! I like the white molding on my GB, for example…

What do you all polish your powdercoated parts with to restore shine and/or remove small defects? The original powdered side rails on my JP, GNR and Wonka have scuffed or dull areas where the backbox rubbed on the rails during transport and I'd like to polish and correct those areas, if possible. I'm curious if there's a product or method that would accomplish this without stripping and recoating the parts. Would something like Eastwood Powdercoating & Paint Polish do the trick or is that a waste of time? I have a high-quality orbital buffer and pads I use to polish paint on my cars, if that's the recommended approach?
